Whitmore Bay’s sandy award winning Blue Flag beach lies in a sheltered bay with rock pools at both headlands and is backed by an elegant promenade and gardens which has Green Flag status. At the eastern end there are vibrantly painted beach huts, a climbing wall, mist feature and an events amphitheatre. A landscaped headland walk leads around to Jackson’s Bay whilst at the western end a footpath leads out to the headland at Friars Point.
