Rules & Etiquette
> Leave no trace on the land and use the bins provided.
> No smoking inside the tents and please do not throw butts on the ground. Use fire pits and sand cigarette bins provided.
> Please wash up and return any items from the tent back to the tent.
> Please leave your toilet block and shower clean & tidy as you found it.
> Please respect other guests and be quiet after 10pm.
> No Pets.
> Please close gates behind you.
Please walk on footpaths and not through farmers crops (Including long grass).
> No fireworks or sky lanterns as we have lots of horses around us.
> Do NOT feed the horses.
> Please do not take any wood from our woodland to burn. We like to leave it to rot down for insects to enjoy and live in!
> Vehicles are to be parked in the carpark area.
Frequently Asked Questions
Whats inside the tents?
Inside our two furnished tents Stargazer, Cariad & Cwtch you can sleep 4 & 6 people. They each have a luxury double or king size double beds & single futons sofa beds, Bedding is supplied in these tents.
The main bed will be made up, ready to use and the bedding for the futons will be inside a box or vintage suitcase. Just pop the bottom sheet supplied on the futons and hey presto! They are all furnished differently but they’re all equally equipped with everything you need to enjoy your luxury camping experience. As well as having a kettle in your tent the communal kitchen is well equipped. Please just remember to put it back when finished with it and keep everything clean and tidy for other happy campers! In the porch of your tent is a box that contains a camping gas stove and some wood that’s supplied for your first night. Briquets for the log burners inside, some kindling, firelighters and a bag of logs for the camp fire outside. If you need any more, you can purchase onsite from us. We provide, Fire extinguishers, Fire place guards, Carbon monoxide alarms, First aid kits, Bed linen, Kitchen utensils, Welcome 1st night hampers of bread, eggs, bacon & milk, Extra blankets, Books, Board games, BBQ utensils, Hot water bottles, Wine glasses. Extra logs are available to purchase at £7.00 per bag.
Do the tents have electricity?
Yes, all our tents have electricity.
Do the bring your own bedding ?
Yes we provide the bedding & linen and extra bedding can be hired at an extra charge.
Is there a BBQ?
Yes, every tent has it's own fire pit outside with a BBQ tripod stand.
Is there a restaurant close by?
The Red Lion is the closest country pub/restaurant. Only a 20 minute walk away or 3 a minute drive! The Aubrey Arms Pub is a 5 minute drive away, it is has a lovely beer garden and a BIG menu so great for the kids. Please see our local recommendations page for more info!
Where is the closest shop?
The closest shop for essentials is a small village shop in Bonvilston village only a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away or there is Cowbridge Market town with many shops, pubs, & restaurants including a large Waitrose supermarket, Vegan restaurant and Tesco express only 10 minutes drive away. If you are after bigger shops, then there is a Tesco Extra, Marks & Spencer, TK MAX, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Currys, B&M Discount store, Burger King only 10 minute drive away.
How do I check in and out?
Easily… It’s all part of the adventure!
Using the What Three Words app. Download before you set off on your journey & it will take you to the exact location of our glamping site and your accommodation where a member of the Glamping Meadows team will greet you and hand you your welcome pack and gate key. Check in is from 3pm. If you haven’t already heard from us by arrival day please text or call us on 07768805331. You can always send us a text or give us a ring if you have any questions or any problems.
Check out is anytime before 10:30am on departure day. Please use rubbish bins, finish your washing up and make sure things are back where you found them before leaving.
Free parking is available for all our guests in our grass area car park.
